Cambridge PhotoWalk

I will take you for a photo walk in the historic town centre to shoot the most iconic places in Cambridge. We will visit secret spots & hidden gems of Cambridge too. Together we will shoot eye-catching travel photos for your Instagram, Facebook or printed photo album.

You will experience the best photo spots in each location like famous colleges, picturesque tiny houses, narrow streets, the River Cam with punts. We will walk the Kings Parade, Portugal Place, picturesque Trinity Lane (and more) stopping for portraits and street-style photos. We can`t miss a red phone booth of course.

You will be surprised how many places we will visit & how many photos we will take!

You will experience the essence of British architecture, culture & nature. During 1.5 hours of Photowalk we will freeze a moment of time – you in Cambridge.

What will we do?

You will have Cambridge as your background for a series of pictures. I will help you relax in front of the camera giving you Instagrammers poses, also will show you some of my favourite spots & recommend where to shop and eat. I will share mobile photography tips to make your future snaps stunning.

What happens if it rains? That’s brilliant news! We will see the best Cambridge puddles and we will shoot jaw-dropping reflection photos.

You will receive:

Hello & call me Jaro. I`m a mobile photographer with 8 years of experience (@jaroslaw_marciuk) founder of @igerscambridge_uk Instagramers Community in Cambridge. I have been using Instagram since 2011 & share my passion with others. In 2014 I became Instagram Suggested User.

Since the beginning, I have developed several projects including photowalks, photoshoots, InstaMeets, photo exhibition, workshops, Instatrips & brand campaign collaborations.

Please contact me with your special interests & requests and I may be able to adjust the day’s activities, and photo locations just for you. If possible I may change the hours of PhotoWalk that suit you. Photos are taken with my equipment.
Please bring with you:

  • Smile and good mood
  • Comfortable shoes and colourful clothes
  • Additional accessories according to your preferences
  • Your own charged smartphone/ camera to shoot your own pictures

Photowalk does not include college entry fees (top colleges in Cambridge).

This was an incredible experience. Jaro took me to places I could had never found on my own. He knows the best spots for pictures and is very knowledgeable of the history of the colleges and Cambridge in general. He is passionate about it and clearly enjoys what he does. He is also a great conversationalist, which made the experience very enjoyable, it felt like hanging out with an old friend. He took amazing pictures of my trip to Cambridge. Do yourself a favour and book this experience, you won’t regret it.
On that day we did get into a thunderstorm which really was not helpful to walk around and take pictures. But Jaro had a good alternative that didn't get us soaked. We went to a museum and took pictures with awesome architecture and art. After it stopped raining we went outside again and continued with a little shorter walk through Cambridge. He was also nice enough to prolonge our walk for a couple of minutes and show me some places and to take pictures. Afterwards, I received the pictures very quickly and he also suggested some apps to use if I wanted to modify them.
I personally had a great experience with Jaro on our photo walk around Cambridge. I’m fairly new to the city and it was wonderful to see it through a local lens. I appreciated Jaro’s knowledge and photo ideas as I sometimes draw a blank. I would definitely recommend! I’m very happy with my photos and received a list of the places we went to so I can revisit on my own.
Jaro is the best photographer in Cambridge. If you are a tourist, you have to meet with him. He takes you to special places and shows many tourists missed places. This photo tour is amazing!! Nice weather in Cambridge is a plus!! Jaro is very friendly and knowledgeable about what he’s doing. And he discovers nice spots and takes great photos of you which you won’t be able to do on your own when you are a newbie to the town!
